//overview

KaamBazar is a job marketplace that connects users with service providers. The goal is simple: make it easier to find work and easier to hire the right person for a job.

A user can open a job whenever they need something done, and the workers it matches see that job on their screen. Workers can also look beyond their own occupation, and every job is saved in history for both sides. It is built with Next.js and TypeScript, with PostgreSQL as the database.

//how it works

  1. 01

    Two sides, one marketplace

    Users who need work done and service providers who do it both use KaamBazar, so they can find each other in the same place.

  2. 02

    Open a job

    A user can open a job at any time for the work they want done.

  3. 03

    Workers see it on their screen

    The open job is displayed to the corresponding workers, so the right people see it without having to search for it.

  4. 04

    Hire a service provider

    The user hires a service provider for the job, and the work gets done through the platform.

//features5 total

  1. Connects users and service providers

    Both sides of the marketplace live in one place, so users looking for help and workers looking for jobs can find each other.

  2. Jobs reach the matching workers

    Once a job is open, it is displayed on the screens of the corresponding workers, so it gets noticed by the people who can do it.

  3. Browse other occupations

    A worker of one occupation can also look at jobs from other occupations, which opens up more work than just their own category.

  4. Job history for both sides

    Every job is saved in history for workers and users, so users can see the tasks they have created and workers can look back at their work.

  5. Service hiring

    Hire a service provider for the job without leaving the platform.

//problems & fixes

  • Finding the right match

    −Problem: Clients and providers are hard to connect when jobs and services are scattered.

    +Solution: Bring both into one marketplace with simple job discovery and service hiring.
